OLANCO 3/25MG CAPSULE is a combination of two medications, olanzapine & fluoxetine, used to treat depression and other mental health conditions. Olanzapine is an antipsychotic medication that works by changing the activity of certain natural substances in the brain. Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant that works by increasing the amount of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain, which helps to improve mood.

Uses:

OLANCO 3/25MG CAPSULE is used to treat depression and other mental health conditions such as bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and panic disorder. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Side Effects:

Common side effects of OLANCO 3/25MG CAPSULE include drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, constipation, weight gain, increased appetite, and trouble sleeping. Other side effects may include headache, blurred vision, increased sweating, tremor, restlessness, and changes in sex drive or ability.

When Not to Use:

OLANCO 3/25MG CAPSULE should not be used if you are allergic to olanzapine or fluoxetine, or if you have taken a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) such as isocarboxazid, linezolid, phenelzine, rasagiline, selegiline, or tranylcypromine in the last 14 days.

It should also not be used if you have a history of heart disease or stroke.
