Uses of Xed Capsule 250mg

Xed Capsule 250mg is used to reduce heavy bleeding. It is widely prescribed for heavy periods, and is also used for nosebleeds, for bleeding after surgery, dental extraction or injury, and to prevent bleeding in people with haemophilia or other clotting problems. It may also be used to help prevent swelling attacks in hereditary angioedema.

How Xed Capsule 250mg works

Tranexamic acid blocks fibrinolysis, the natural process the body uses to break down blood clots. By keeping clots that have already formed in place for longer, it helps bleeding slow down and stop. It does not change the number of platelets or the clotting factors themselves.
