Uses of Methergine 0.125mg Tablet

Methergine 0.125mg Tablet is used to prevent and control heavy bleeding from the womb after childbirth, including after a caesarean section. It is also used when the womb is slow to shrink back to its normal size after delivery. Treatment usually starts in hospital as an injection, and tablets may be continued for a short time afterwards under medical advice.
