Rozimet 2mg/500mg Tablet, made by Wilshire Laboratories Ltd, is a combination of a thiazolidinedione and a biguanide antidiabetic. Its active ingredient is Rosiglitazone + Metformin 2mg/500mg, and it is used for type 2 diabetes. Pack size: 10 tablets.

Uses of Rozimet 2mg/500mg Tablet

• Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease, or drink alcohol heavily, as these increase the risk of lactic acidosis.
• Your doctor may ask you to stop it temporarily before surgery or before X-ray tests that use iodine contrast dye.
• It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding; insulin is usually preferred, so speak to your doctor.
• Rosiglitazone has been linked to an increased risk of bone fractures, especially in women, and rarely to swelling at the back of the eye; report any change in vision.
