Uses of Brivamark 25mg Tablet

Brivamark 25mg Tablet is used as an add-on treatment for partial-onset seizures, with or without spread to both sides of the brain, in adults and children. It is added when other epilepsy medicines on their own have not controlled seizures well enough. Taken regularly, it aims to reduce how often seizures happen. Treatment is started and adjusted by a specialist.

How Brivamark 25mg Tablet works

Brivaracetam binds strongly to a protein called SV2A, found in the small sacs inside nerve endings that release chemical messengers. By acting on this protein it calms excessive electrical activity in the brain, making it harder for seizures to start and spread.
