Artedoxin-P 50mg/500mg/25mg Tablet is a tablet made by Efroze Chemical Industries (PVT.) Ltd that contains Artesunate + Sulfadoxine + Pyrimethamine 50mg/500mg, an artemisinin-based combination antimalarial. It is used for uncomplicated falciparum malaria and malaria. Pack size: 1×8 tablets.

Uses of Artedoxin-P 50mg/500mg/25mg Tablet

Artedoxin-P 50mg/500mg/25mg Tablet is used to treat uncomplicated malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum, the most dangerous malaria parasite. It is an artemisinin-based combination therapy and is part of the recommended malaria treatment in Pakistan. It should only be used after malaria has been confirmed or strongly suspected by a doctor, and it is not meant for preventing malaria or treating severe malaria.

How Artedoxin-P 50mg/500mg/25mg Tablet works

Artesunate acts very quickly to kill malaria parasites in the blood and rapidly reduces the parasite load. Sulfadoxine and pyrimethamine work more slowly and stay in the body longer; they block the parasite’s ability to make folate, which it needs to multiply, helping to clear the remaining parasites.

Storage
