Cefdinir belongs to the cephalosporin family. It prevents bacteria from completing their cell wall, so the cells become weak and burst. Because it is fairly stable against some of the enzymes bacteria use to resist antibiotics, it works against a broad range of common germs.

Possible side effects

Wnsdinir 250mg|5ml Suspension is usually well tolerated. When side effects do occur, the most common are:

• Diarrhoea or loose stools
• Nausea
• Stomach pain
• Headache
• Vaginal itching or thrush
• Mild skin rash
