Prosense DS Tablet is a tablet made by Goldsheff Intl Nutraceutical that contains Ginkgo Biloba Extract + Mecobalamin, a ginkgo and active vitamin B12 supplement. It is used for peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, vitamin B12 deficiency, vertigo and tinnitus. Pack size: 20 tablets.

Uses of Prosense DS Tablet

Prosense DS Tablet is used as a supplement to support nerve health in people with tingling, numbness or burning pain in the hands and feet, including nerve problems linked with diabetes or low vitamin B12. Ginkgo is also traditionally used for dizziness, ringing in the ears and memory support. It complements, but does not replace, treatment of the underlying condition.

How Prosense DS Tablet works

Mecobalamin is an active form of vitamin B12 that helps maintain the protective coating around nerves and supports nerve repair and red blood cell formation. Ginkgo biloba extract is thought to improve circulation in small blood vessels and to have antioxidant effects.

Possible side effects

Prosense DS Tablet is usually well tolerated, although some people get:

• Mild stomach upset
• Nausea
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Loss of appetite

Stop taking it and get medical help if you have unusual bleeding or bruising, blood in the urine or stools, or swelling of the face and breathing difficulty.

Precautions and warnings

• Tell your doctor if you take blood-thinning medicines such as warfarin, aspirin or clopidogrel, or anti-inflammatory painkillers, as ginkgo may increase bleeding risk.
• Stop taking it about two weeks before planned surgery or dental extraction.
• Tell your doctor if you have epilepsy or a bleeding disorder.
• Keep your blood sugar well controlled if you have diabetic nerve pain, as this is the most important part of treatment.
• Ask your doctor before using it in pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Storage

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it in the original pack until use. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
