Ritban 15mg Tablet contains Rivaroxaban 15mg, an oral anticoagulant (blood thinner). Made by Sami Pharma Ltd, it is prescribed for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism and clot prevention after hip or knee surgery. Pack size: 14 tablets.

Rivaroxaban blocks factor Xa, a key clotting protein, so the blood clots less easily.

Bleeding is the most important side effect. Others include:

• Nosebleeds or bleeding gums
• Heavy periods
• Nausea
