Uses of Vetrawin Syrup

Vetrawin Syrup is used to control seizures in epilepsy, either on its own or together with other anti-epileptic medicines. It is used for partial-onset seizures, myoclonic seizures in juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, and primary generalised tonic-clonic seizures, in both adults and children.

How Vetrawin Syrup works

Levetiracetam binds to a protein in nerve cells (SV2A) that controls the release of chemical messengers. This helps calm the excessive electrical activity in the brain that causes seizures.
