Y-Fix 200mg/5ml Suspension, made by Adamjee Pharmaceuticals Ltd., is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Its active ingredient is Cefixime 200mg/5ml, and it is used for typhoid fever, urinary tract infections, throat and tonsil infections, ear infections, chest infections and uncomplicated gonorrhoea. Uses of Y-Fix 200mg/5ml Suspension

Y-Fix 200mg/5ml Suspension is used to treat infections caused by bacteria that are sensitive to cefixime. In Pakistan it is widely prescribed for typhoid fever, and it is also used for urinary tract infections, sore throat and tonsillitis, middle ear infections, bronchitis and some sexually transmitted infections. It does not work against viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
