Prelox Tablets 100mg, made by Bosch Pharmaceuticals Ltd, is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Its active ingredient is Cefpodoxime 100mg, and it is used for throat and tonsil infections, sinusitis, ear infections, chest infections, urinary tract infections and skin infections. Uses of Prelox Tablets 100mg

Prelox Tablets 100mg is used for bacterial infections of the throat and tonsils, sinuses, middle ear and chest (including bronchitis and pneumonia), uncomplicated urinary tract infections, gonorrhoea, and skin and soft tissue infections.

How Prelox Tablets 100mg works

Cefpodoxime blocks the building of the bacterial cell wall, so the bacteria die. Tablets are best taken with food.

• Headache
• Skin rash
