Neo Tears Eye Drop

Neo Tears Eye Drop contains Lubricant Eye Drops, a lubricating eye drop. Made by Vega Pharmaceuticals Ltd, it is used for dry, gritty and tired eyes. Pack size: neo tears eye drop.

Uses of Neo Tears Eye Drop

Neo Tears Eye Drop are used to relieve the burning, gritty, tired and irritated feeling of dry eyes. Dryness can be caused by long hours at a screen, air conditioning, dust, wind, ageing, contact lenses or some medicines. These drops contain polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol, and are often used long term to keep the eyes comfortable and moist.

How Neo Tears Eye Drop works

Polyethylene glycol and propylene glycol act as lubricants. They form a soothing, moisture-retaining film over the surface of the eye that supplements the natural tears, reduces friction when blinking and protects the eye surface from further irritation.

Possible side effects

Neo Tears Eye Drop are gentle and rarely cause problems. Occasionally people notice:

• Brief blurred vision after use
• Mild stinging or burning
• Eye irritation or redness
• Crusting on the eyelids

Stop using them and see a doctor if you have eye pain, changes in vision, or redness and irritation that get worse or last more than a few days.

Precautions and warnings

• Do not let the tip of the bottle touch your eye or any other surface, to keep the drops free from germs.
• Remove contact lenses before use unless the pack says the drops are suitable for lenses.
• Wait until your vision is clear before driving.
• If you use other eye drops as well, leave a few minutes between them.
• Throw the bottle away after the time stated on the label once opened, and see a doctor if dryness does not improve, as it may need further assessment.

Storage

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and do not use it after the expiry date or the period stated on the label once opened. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
