Uses of Hylixia Plus Syrup

Hylixia Plus Syrup is a herbal cough syrup traditionally used to relieve a chesty cough with thick phlegm, such as the cough that comes with colds and acute bronchitis. It helps loosen mucus so it is easier to cough up and may soothe an irritated throat. It is a supportive remedy for symptom relief and is not a substitute for medical care when a chest infection is suspected.

How Hylixia Plus Syrup works

Ivy leaf extract contains saponins that help thin mucus and may relax the airways. Thyme extract has traditional expectorant and soothing effects on the chest. Liquorice extract coats and soothes the throat and is traditionally used to ease coughing.

Possible side effects

Precautions and warnings

• Avoid it if you are allergic to thyme or other plants of the mint family.

• See a doctor if the cough lasts more than a week, or if you cough up blood or become short of breath.

Storage

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and do not use it after the expiry date or the period stated on the label once opened. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
