Uses of Nurosa 50mg Tablet

Nurosa 50mg Tablet is used to control partial-onset (focal) seizures, which start in one area of the brain and may or may not spread. In hospital it may be given into a vein when tablets cannot be taken.

How Nurosa 50mg Tablet works

Lacosamide calms overactive nerve cells by enhancing the slow inactivation of their sodium channels. This makes it harder for nerve cells to fire repeatedly in the rapid bursts that cause a seizure, while normal nerve signalling carries on.

Possible side effects
