Berica 90mg Tablet contains Etoricoxib 90mg, a COX-2 selective anti-inflammatory painkiller. Made by S.J. & G. Fazul-ellahie Ltd, it is prescribed for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout attacks and dental pain. Pack size: 10 tablets.

Uses of Berica 90mg Tablet

Berica 90mg Tablet is used to relieve pain and inflammation in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and acute gout, and for short-term pain after dental surgery.

How Berica 90mg Tablet works

Etoricoxib blocks COX-2, the enzyme that produces prostaglandins at sites of inflammation, with less effect on the stomach than many older NSAIDs.

Common side effects of Berica 90mg Tablet include:

• Swelling of the legs
• Raised blood pressure
• Indigestion
• Dizziness

Stop taking it and see a doctor urgently if you pass black or bloody stools, vomit blood, have chest pain, or develop swelling of the face or difficulty breathing.

Precautions and warnings

• It is not suitable for people with heart disease, poorly controlled blood pressure or a history of stroke.
• Take it with or after food.
• Tell your doctor if you have had a stomach ulcer or bleeding, asthma, heart disease, high blood pressure, or kidney or liver problems.
• Do not combine it with other NSAID painkillers unless advised.
