Uses of Enterogermina Ampules 2B

Enterogermina Ampules 2B is used to help restore the normal balance of gut bacteria during and after acute diarrhoea in children and adults. It is also commonly given alongside antibiotics to reduce the chance of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. It is used together with oral rehydration solution (ORS), which remains the most important treatment for diarrhoea, especially in young children.

How Enterogermina Ampules 2B works

Bacillus clausii is given as spores that survive stomach acid and reach the intestine alive. There they become active, settle in the gut and help rebalance the gut bacteria. The spores are also resistant to many common antibiotics, which allows them to work during an antibiotic course.

Possible side effects

Side effects with Enterogermina Ampules 2B are rare. Occasionally people report:
