Its active ingredient is Ciprofloxacin 250mg, and it is used for urinary tract infections, prostate infections, typhoid fever, infectious diarrhoea, bone and joint infections, and eye and ear infections. Uses of Ciplox 250mg Tablet
Ciplox 250mg Tablet is used for bacterial infections including urinary tract and kidney infections, chronic prostate infection, gonorrhoea, infectious diarrhoea, bone and joint infections, and some chest infections. Eye and ear drop forms are used for bacterial eye and ear infections.
How Ciplox 250mg Tablet works
Ciprofloxacin blocks the enzymes bacteria need to copy their DNA, so they cannot multiply and die.

- Nausea or diarrhoea
- Stomach pain
- Headache
- Dizziness
- Rash
Stop taking it and contact your doctor straight away if you have tendon pain or swelling, numbness or tingling in the hands or feet, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or mood changes.
Precautions and warnings
- It is not usually given to children or teenagers who are still growing, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Keep a gap of a few hours between Ciplox 250mg Tablet and milk, antacids, or iron, zinc or calcium supplements.
