Esorant 40mg Tablet is a tablet made by Amarant Caraway Pharmaceutical that contains Esomeprazole 40mg, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid. Uses of Esorant 40mg Tablet

Esorant 40mg Tablet is used to treat acid reflux and heartburn, to heal inflammation of the food pipe (oesophagitis), and to treat and prevent stomach and duodenal ulcers, including ulcers linked to painkillers such as NSAIDs. Together with antibiotics, it is used to clear Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also used for conditions that make too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

How Esorant 40mg Tablet works

Esomeprazole switches off the proton pumps in the stomach lining that release acid. Less acid allows the food pipe and stomach lining to heal and relieves burning and pain.

• Long-term use can lower magnesium and vitamin B12 levels and may slightly increase the risk of bone fractures, so use it for as long as your doctor advises.
