Uses of Devoquine 50mg|5ml Syrup
Devoquine 50mg|5ml Syrup is used to treat malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax, P. malariae, P. ovale and chloroquine-sensitive falciparum parasites, and in some cases to prevent malaria. It is also used for amoebic liver abscess.
How Devoquine 50mg|5ml Syrup works
Chloroquine builds up inside malaria parasites in the red blood cells and stops them breaking down haemoglobin safely, which kills the parasites.
