Xa-Zole 40mg|200mg Suspension contains Co-trimoxazole (Trimethoprim + Sulfamethoxazole) 40mg/200mg, a combination antibiotic. Uses of Xa-Zole 40mg|200mg Suspension

Xa-Zole 40mg|200mg Suspension is used for urinary tract infections, flare-ups of chronic bronchitis, middle ear infections, some gut infections such as traveller’s diarrhoea and shigellosis, and for the treatment and prevention of Pneumocystis pneumonia in people with weak immunity.

How Xa-Zole 40mg|200mg Suspension works

Its two ingredients block two different steps the bacteria use to make folic acid, which they need to grow. Working together, they stop the bacteria from multiplying.

• Nausea or vomiting
• Loss of appetite
• Skin rash
• Diarrhoea
