Batelo 0.50% Cream, made by Medisure, is a very potent topical corticosteroid. Its active ingredient is Clobetasol 0.50%, and it is used for severe eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus, discoid lupus and other inflammatory skin conditions. Pack size: 5gm cream.

Uses of Batelo 0.50% Cream

Batelo 0.50% Cream is applied to the skin for short-term treatment of severe inflammatory skin conditions such as stubborn eczema, psoriasis, lichen planus and discoid lupus that have not responded to milder steroid creams.

How Batelo 0.50% Cream works

Clobetasol reduces inflammation, redness and itching by calming the immune response in the skin.

Possible side effects

Used correctly for short periods, side effects are usually mild:

• Burning or stinging when first applied
• Dryness or itching
• Thinning of the skin with prolonged use
• Stretch marks

Precautions and warnings

• Use it only for the time your doctor advises, usually no more than four weeks, and on small areas.

Storage

Store below 30°C and keep the cap tightly closed. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes unless the product is made for eye use. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
