Uses of Rhilor-D Tablet

Rhilor-D Tablet is used to relieve hay fever and other allergic rhinitis when a blocked nose is a major symptom. The antihistamine eases sneezing, a runny or itchy nose and itchy, watery eyes, while the decongestant clears nasal and sinus congestion. It is intended for short-term use in adults and children aged 12 and over.

How Rhilor-D Tablet works

Loratadine blocks histamine, the chemical released during an allergic reaction that causes sneezing, itching and a runny nose. Pseudoephedrine narrows the swollen blood vessels in the lining of the nose, which reduces swelling and opens up the nasal passages.

• Do not take it with, or within two weeks of stopping, an MAOI antidepressant, and avoid other decongestants or cold remedies at the same time.
• Do not use it for longer than the pack or your pharmacist recommends.
• It is not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding unless a doctor advises it.
• It is not suitable for children under 12.

Storage

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep it in the original pack until use. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
