Amoxi-Clav Tablet

Amoxi-Clav Tablet is a tablet made by Sandoz that contains Co-amoxiclav (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid), a penicillin antibiotic combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It is used for sinusitis, ear infections, chest infections, urinary tract infections, dental infections, skin infections and animal bites. Pack size: 3 x 2 tablets.

Uses of Amoxi-Clav Tablet

Amoxi-Clav Tablet is used for bacterial infections that may not respond to amoxicillin alone, including sinusitis, middle ear infections, chest infections and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, dental abscesses, skin and soft tissue infections, and infected animal or human bites.

How Amoxi-Clav Tablet works

Amoxicillin kills bacteria by breaking down their cell wall, while clavulanic acid stops bacterial enzymes from destroying amoxicillin, widening the range of bacteria it can treat.

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Skin rash
• Thrush (fungal infection)

Precautions and warnings

Storage
