Uses of Semo Rex Ointment

Semo Rex Ointment is rubbed onto the skin to relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints. It is commonly used for backache, sprains, strains, stiff neck and shoulders, and minor rheumatic or arthritic pain. The warming sensation it produces helps ease discomfort in the area where it is applied. It is for external use only and should not be used on broken skin.

How Semo Rex Ointment works

Methyl salicylate is absorbed into the skin and acts as a counter-irritant, producing a warming feeling that distracts from deeper pain, and it also has a mild local anti-inflammatory effect. Iodine adds a further counter-irritant effect and helps increase local warmth and blood flow.
