Benroxim 125mg Tablet, made by Benson, is a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Its active ingredient is Cefuroxime 125mg, and it is used for throat and tonsil infections, sinusitis, ear infections, chest infections, urinary tract infections, skin infections and early Lyme disease. Pack size: 7 tablets.

Uses of Benroxim 125mg Tablet

Benroxim 125mg Tablet is used for bacterial infections of the throat, tonsils, sinuses and middle ear, bronchitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, uncomplicated gonorrhoea, and skin and soft tissue infections. The injection form is used for more serious infections and to prevent infection around surgery.

How Benroxim 125mg Tablet works

Cefuroxime blocks the building of the bacterial cell wall, so the bacteria break down and die. The tablets are better absorbed when taken after food.

• Diarrhoea
• Nausea or vomiting
• Headache
• Dizziness
• Skin rash

Precautions and warnings
