How Bioderm Lotion 60ml works

Betamethasone is a corticosteroid that calms inflammation, easing redness, swelling and itching. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from making essential proteins. Together they treat the infection and the inflammation around it.

Possible side effects

Most people use this product without problems. Some may notice:

• Stinging or burning on application
• Itching or irritation
• Temporary blurred vision after eye drops

Precautions

• This contains a steroid and an antibiotic. Do not use it on the face or on large areas, or for longer than your doctor advises.
• Do a small patch test first, and keep it away from the eyes, lips, inside of the nose and broken skin unless your doctor says otherwise.
• Stop using it and see your doctor if you notice severe redness, swelling, blistering or a rash.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist before using it on children, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Keep out of reach of children and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
