Buticef 40mg|5ml Suspension contains Cefpodoxime 40mg, a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Uses of Buticef 40mg|5ml Suspension

Buticef 40mg|5ml Suspension is used for bacterial infections of the throat and tonsils, sinuses, middle ear and chest (including bronchitis and pneumonia), uncomplicated urinary tract infections, gonorrhoea, and skin and soft tissue infections.

How Buticef 40mg|5ml Suspension works

Cefpodoxime blocks the building of the bacterial cell wall, so the bacteria die. Tablets are best taken with food.
