Uses of Citiflow Syrup

How Citiflow Syrup works

Citicoline is broken down in the body into choline and cytidine, which the brain uses to build phosphatidylcholine, a key part of nerve cell membranes. It may help stabilise damaged brain cell membranes and support the production of acetylcholine, a messenger involved in memory and attention.

Possible side effects

Citicoline is usually well tolerated, though some people taking Citiflow Syrup report:

Precautions and warnings

• Keep taking any blood pressure, blood-thinning or cholesterol medicines your doctor has prescribed, as citicoline does not replace them.
• Tell your doctor about all other medicines you take, including levodopa for Parkinson’s disease, as citicoline may add to its effect.
• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, use it only after speaking to your doctor.

Storage

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed and do not use it after the expiry date or the period stated on the label once opened. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
