Uses of Closip 250mg Capsule

Closip 250mg Capsule is used together with other anti-TB medicines to treat multidrug-resistant and other drug-resistant tuberculosis, when standard TB treatment is not suitable or has not worked. Treatment is managed by a TB specialist programme and continues for many months. It is not used for ordinary infections.

How Closip 250mg Capsule works

Cycloserine blocks enzymes that bacteria need to build their cell walls. Without a strong cell wall, the TB bacteria cannot grow and multiply, and other medicines in the regimen can work more effectively.

Possible side effects

• Drowsiness or dizziness
