Encid Capsule 20mg is used to treat acid reflux and heartburn, inflammation of the food pipe, stomach and duodenal ulcers, and to protect the stomach in people taking NSAID painkillers. With antibiotics, it is used to clear Helicobacter pylori infection.
How Encid Capsule 20mg works
Omeprazole blocks the proton pumps in the stomach lining that make acid. Lower acid levels relieve burning and allow damaged tissue to heal.
