Meprium-L 40mg Capsule, made by Friends, is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid. Uses of Meprium-L 40mg Capsule

Meprium-L 40mg Capsule is used to treat acid reflux and heartburn, to heal inflammation of the food pipe (oesophagitis), and to treat and prevent stomach and duodenal ulcers, including ulcers linked to painkillers such as NSAIDs. Together with antibiotics, it is used to clear Helicobacter pylori infection. It is also used for conditions that make too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

How Meprium-L 40mg Capsule works

Esomeprazole switches off the proton pumps in the stomach lining that release acid. Less acid allows the food pipe and stomach lining to heal and relieves burning and pain.
