Omxiclv 250mg/62mg Suspension is a suspension made by Epla that contains Co-amoxiclav (Amoxicillin + Clavulanic Acid) 250mg/62mg, a penicillin antibiotic combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Omxiclv 250mg/62mg Suspension is used for bacterial infections that may not respond to amoxicillin alone, including sinusitis, middle ear infections, chest infections and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, dental abscesses, skin and soft tissue infections, and infected animal or human bites.

How Omxiclv 250mg/62mg Suspension works

Amoxicillin kills bacteria by breaking down their cell wall, while clavulanic acid stops bacterial enzymes from destroying amoxicillin, widening the range of bacteria it can treat.
