Uses of Orinase 3mg Tablet

Orinase 3mg Tablet is used together with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It can be used on its own or with other diabetes medicines such as metformin or insulin. Good blood sugar control helps prevent long-term problems with the eyes, kidneys, nerves and heart.

How Orinase 3mg Tablet works

• Alcohol, heavy exercise and missed meals increase the risk of low blood sugar.
• Tell your doctor if you have kidney or liver disease or a G6PD deficiency.
• It is not used for type 1 diabetes, and is generally avoided in pregnancy.
