Uses of Ospamox 1000mg Tablet
Ospamox 1000mg Tablet is used for common bacterial infections such as sore throat and tonsillitis, middle ear infections, sinusitis, bronchitis and pneumonia, urinary tract infections, dental abscesses and some skin infections. It is also part of combination treatment to clear Helicobacter pylori.
How Ospamox 1000mg Tablet works
Amoxicillin stops bacteria from building their cell wall, so they break apart and die.

Common side effects of Ospamox 1000mg Tablet include:
- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Skin rash
- Thrush (fungal infection) of the mouth or vagina
Stop and get medical help straight away if you notice swelling of the face or throat, difficulty breathing, a severe skin rash, or severe or bloody diarrhoea.
Precautions and warnings
- Do not take it if you are allergic to penicillin.
