Ristases Eye Drop 10ml is used together with other anti-TB medicines to treat multidrug-resistant and other drug-resistant tuberculosis, when standard TB treatment is not suitable or has not worked. Treatment is managed by a TB specialist programme and continues for many months. It is not used for ordinary infections.

Cycloserine blocks enzymes that bacteria need to build their cell walls. Without a strong cell wall, the TB bacteria cannot grow and multiply, and other medicines in the regimen can work more effectively.
