Uses of Xormet 500mg Tablet

Xormet 500mg Tablet is used together with diet and exercise to control blood sugar in type 2 diabetes. How Xormet 500mg Tablet works

Possible side effects

Stomach side effects are common at the start and usually settle within a few weeks:

• Nausea or loss of appetite
• Diarrhoea

Rarely, metformin can cause lactic acidosis. Get urgent medical help if you have severe vomiting, deep or fast breathing, unusual muscle pain, feeling very cold or very weak.
