Uses of Zithrosan Eye Drop

Zithrosan Eye Drop is used for bacterial infections of the throat, tonsils, sinuses, ears and chest, including bronchitis and community-acquired pneumonia. It is also used for skin infections, some sexually transmitted infections such as chlamydia, and in Pakistan it is often prescribed for typhoid fever. Its short course, often three to five days, makes it convenient.

Azithromycin stops bacteria from making the proteins they need to grow and multiply. It builds up in body tissues and stays there for several days, which is why a short course keeps working after the last dose.
