Polygynax Capsules Vaginal vaginal capsules are used to treat vaginal infections caused by bacteria, yeast (Candida), or a mixture of both. Such infections can cause unusual discharge, itching, burning and discomfort. Because it covers both bacteria and fungi, it is often used when a mixed infection is suspected. It may also be used before some gynaecological procedures, as advised by a doctor.

How Polygynax Capsules Vaginal works

Neomycin and polymyxin B are antibiotics that kill a wide range of bacteria by disrupting how they make proteins and by damaging their outer membrane. Nystatin is an antifungal that attaches to the yeast cell wall, causing it to leak and die. The capsule works locally inside the vagina.
