Dapwiz 10mg Tablet is used with diet and exercise to lower blood sugar in type 2 diabetes. It is also prescribed to treat heart failure and chronic kidney disease, in people with or without diabetes, to reduce hospital admissions and slow kidney decline.
How Dapwiz 10mg Tablet works
Dapagliflozin blocks a protein in the kidneys (SGLT2) that reabsorbs sugar, so extra sugar leaves the body in the urine. This also reduces fluid load and strain on the heart and kidneys.
