Celecoxib: Uses, Side Effects & Brands in Pakistan
Celecoxib is a COX-2 selective non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It is available as capsules in Pakistan, under brands such as Celbexx and others.
How Celecoxib works
Celecoxib mainly blocks COX-2, the enzyme linked to pain and inflammation, while largely sparing COX-1, which protects the stomach lining. This is why it tends to cause fewer stomach problems than older NSAIDs.
