Aquazole Cream

Aquazole Cream, made by Martin Dow Pharmaceuticals Ltd, is an antifungal and mild steroid cream. Its active ingredient is Clotrimazole + Hydrocortisone, and it is used for itchy fungal skin infections, athlete's foot, jock itch and candidal intertrigo. Pack size: 10 gm.

Uses of Aquazole Cream

Aquazole Cream is used to treat fungal skin infections that are red, inflamed and itchy, such as athlete’s foot, jock itch (a fungal infection of the groin) and candida rashes in skin folds. The steroid helps settle the itch and inflammation quickly while the antifungal clears the infection. It is not intended for use on the face.

How Aquazole Cream works

Clotrimazole is an antifungal that damages the outer membrane of fungal and yeast cells, causing them to leak and die. Hydrocortisone is a mild corticosteroid that reduces redness, swelling and itching by calming the skin’s inflammatory response.

Possible side effects

When applying Aquazole Cream, a few people notice:

• Mild burning or stinging
• Redness or irritation
• Itching
• Dryness or peeling

Storage

Store below 30°C and keep the cap tightly closed. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes unless the product is made for eye use. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
