Uses of Fusicare-H 2 % Cream

Fusicare-H 2 % Cream is used for eczema or dermatitis that has become infected with bacteria, usually staphylococci. Signs of infection can include weeping, crusting, yellow scabs or worsening redness on top of an itchy rash. The cream treats the infection and the inflammation together, so it is meant for short courses, not as a routine moisturiser or for everyday skin care.

How Fusicare-H 2 % Cream works

Fusidic acid is an antibiotic that stops bacteria making the proteins they need to grow, clearing the infection on the skin. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid that calms inflammation, reducing redness, swelling and itching while the skin heals.

Storage

Store below 30°C and keep the cap tightly closed. For external use only; avoid contact with the eyes unless the product is made for eye use. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
