Uses of Gastasid 20mg Tablet
Gastasid 20mg Tablet is used to treat acid reflux and heartburn, heal erosive oesophagitis, treat stomach and duodenal ulcers, and protect the stomach in people taking NSAID painkillers. With antibiotics it helps clear Helicobacter pylori. The injection is used in hospital when tablets cannot be taken.
How Gastasid 20mg Tablet works
Pantoprazole switches off the proton pumps in the stomach lining that release acid, allowing irritation and ulcers to heal.
