Uses of Lacasil Syrup 120ml

Lacasil Syrup 120ml is used to treat constipation in adults and children, and in higher doses, prescribed by a doctor, to treat and prevent hepatic encephalopathy (confusion caused by liver disease).

How Lacasil Syrup 120ml works

Lactulose is a sugar that is not absorbed. It draws water into the bowel, softening stools, and in liver disease it lowers the absorption of ammonia from the gut.

• Wind and bloating
• Stomach cramps
• Diarrhoea at higher doses
• Nausea
