Precautions and warnings

• Do not use it if you or a family member have had medullary thyroid cancer or a condition called MEN 2.
• Tell your doctor if you have diabetic eye disease, kidney problems or a history of pancreatitis, or take insulin or a sulfonylurea, as low blood sugar becomes more likely.
• It should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, and should be stopped well before a planned pregnancy as advised by your doctor.
• Store unopened pens in a refrigerator and never share pens, even if the needle is changed.
• It is not used for type 1 diabetes, and should be used for weight loss only under medical supervision.
