Uses of Tasigna 150mg Capsule

Tasigna 150mg Capsule is used to treat Philadelphia chromosome-positive chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) in adults and children. It is used both for newly diagnosed CML and when other treatments such as imatinib have not worked or caused problems. Taken regularly under specialist care, it can keep the leukaemia under control for many years.

How Tasigna 150mg Capsule works

Nilotinib blocks BCR-ABL, an abnormal enzyme produced by the Philadelphia chromosome that drives leukaemia cells to grow uncontrollably. By switching off this signal, it stops the abnormal cells multiplying and allows normal blood cells to recover.
