Uses of Valofibren 67mg Capsule

Valofibren 67mg Capsule is used to lower high levels of triglycerides and, to a lesser extent, cholesterol in the blood, especially when diet and exercise have not been enough. It is particularly useful for people with very high triglycerides or mixed lipid problems, and it may be used together with a statin. Reducing blood fats helps lower the risk of pancreatitis and heart and blood vessel disease.

How Valofibren 67mg Capsule works

Fenofibrate activates a receptor in the liver called PPAR-alpha. This increases the breakdown and clearance of triglyceride-rich fats from the blood, lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol slightly and raises HDL (good) cholesterol. The overall effect is a healthier blood fat profile.
